Stainless Steel Ring Type Joint Flanges Ring Type Joint (RTJ) flanges are specialized types of flanges used in high-pressure and high-temperature applications, particularly in oil and gas industries, petrochemical plants, and offshore drilling operations. These flanges are designed to provide a strong, leak-proof seal in demanding conditions.
Ring Type Joint flanges provide a robust sealing solution for extreme conditions, ensuring leak-free performance and enhancing the safety and reliability of high-pressure piping systems.
RTJ flanges have grooves cut into their faces where a metallic ring gasket is placed. The sealing surface of the flange features a raised circular ridge or "ring" into which the ring gasket rests. The gasket is compressed between the mating flanges, creating a tight seal when under pressure.
